Careers and collaboration

Three remote ways to work with ProductBuild.

ProductBuild separates supported future employment opportunities from self-directed commercial relationships and project-based specialist work so each path has clear expectations from the start. All roles are remote.

Ways to contribute

Choose the path that matches the relationship you want.

A future learning role, an independent referral relationship, and freelance specialist work are different arrangements with different obligations.

02

Independent commission-based relationship

Independent project consultant

Make permission-based introductions when useful. This is not employment; it is a remote independent arrangement. Any commission is agreed in writing before paid work begins.

03

Independent project-based work

Specialist collaborator

Experienced independent product, design, engineering, automation, and domain specialists are paid per project as agreed before work starts. Roles are remote.

Independent relationships

Independent project consultant and specialist collaborator paths are not vacancies.

The independent project consultant path is not a part-time vacancy. It has no assigned hours, lead quota, guaranteed work, managerial supervision, or requirement to make introductions.

Independent project consultants decide whether and when a permission-based introduction is appropriate. Any accepted commission arrangement is governed by signed terms, not employment expectations.

A specialist collaborator is an independent, project-based contributor whose scope, fees, intellectual property, and client communication are agreed per engagement.
